He then totally fails to actually kill him when they finally confront each other, despite the massive stakes involved. After that, he hides the extremely vengeful new Sith Lords son... by giving him to his fathers stepbrother, under his fathers real name, on the planet that his father was born on. Then he wanders off and sits in a cave for two decades and does nothing to correct any of the horrific blunders hes caused, nothing to fight the Empire, nothing to avenge his fallen Jedi comrades and nothing to bring about the re-emergence of the Jedi order. Why Kenobi doesnt simply hide somewhere completely safe with Luke and Leia, adopt them to raise as his own and train them to be Sith-hunting Jedi paladins of awesome, helping to found the Rebel Alliance and spearheading the fight to free the galaxy why none of that seems like a wiser and nobler cause of action to the so-called Jedi Master, is a mystery wrapped in an enigma, married to a riddle and having a torrid affair with a Chinese puzzle-box.
