9. Sherlock May Get A One-Off Episode Before Season 4

The hardest thing about being a fan of BBC's excellent series Sherlock is having to sit through two-year breaks between seasons. Then when the new season finally arrives, it only lasts three episodes, meaning it's never long before we have to wait another frustratingly long time to find out what happens next. Well, that wait may have gotten a little easier, thanks to Martin Freeman, who teased an exciting possibility this week when talking to Alan Carr's Channel 4 talk show "Chatty Man."
"Mark Gatiss may beat me up, but there is an idea for this one-off special that€™s such a good idea. As I was listening to it, I thought 'we've just got to do this.' It's a fantastic, really mouth-watering idea. But I really don't know when we are going to get to do it."
Please, for the love of God, make this happen! Special one-off episodes in between seasons would certainly help wet the appetites of desperate Sherlock fans, and help bridge the gap between seasons. Of course, Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch are getting busier year after year, so this may be hard to pull off. However, one episode is definitely easier to make than three, so it's definitely possible!
