7. Quentin Tarantino May Still Make The Hateful Eight

Quentin Tarantino just can't make up his mind about The Hateful Eight, the latest script from the writer/director that's been making headlines ever since it leaked online a few months ago. Once that happened, he decided not to make the movie, and then later decided to do a live-reading of the first draft last weekend at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. Now, it sounds like he may end up making the film after all. Following the live read, he announced himself that he is currently working on a second draft of the script, and is planning to do a third. He'll be giving the film a new final chapter, which could mean he's reworking things in order to make up for the leak that started this chaos in the first place. Some present at the event, like The Film Stage's Nick Newman, claim that the movie will start filming next winter (which, oddly enough, is when Tarantino wanted to start shooting it in the first place). Perhaps this has just been a minor speedbump on The Hateful Eight's way into the theater? We certainly hope so.
