Marvel's first foray onto the small screen, in the form of a show centered on the SHIELD organization, has not been the initial breakout success I'm sure they were hoping for. Whether it be bad writing, lackluster stories, or its slim connections to the expansive Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans and critics alike have been slowly abandoning the show week to week. The show is definitely getting better as it goes along, but it may be too little too late for it to reach its full potential. So, what do you do when your numbers are dwindling? Step up your game, of course. And what better way to do that than send in an Asgardian to draw some attention? Jaimie Alexander, who plays Lady Sif in the Thor films, will be guest starring on episode 15. She'll be the first super-powered character from the films make the jump from the big screen to the small screen, and Alexander herself confirmed the news on Friday via Twitter: Could this mean more characters from the films will start appearing on the show? I wouldn't count on it, but hey, it's a step in the right direction.
