10 Body Horror Movies That Went Too Far

6. Street Trash

"Well, be forewarned, free has its price."

That tagline was part of the marketing for J. Michael Muro's Street Trash when it first reared its head in 1987.

In this picture, the plot revolves around a crate of 60-year-old booze that a local shop owner is selling off cheaply to the local homeless community. The problem is, this Tenafly Viper liquor has such a kick that it burns right through anybody caught supping it.

By right through, that doesn't mean a dodgy case of 'the morning after the night before'. No, in this case it means literally melting through a poor fool - for Tenafly Viper is essentially acid.

One memorable moment of Street Trash sees a bunch of people playing catch with a severed penis - all while the guy whose penis it is runs around like a penis-less madman - and then there's the brutal scene where a homeless fella ends up falling down the toilet after knocking back some Tenafly Viper.

Seriously, the dude literally melts into the toilet pan.

Of course, like other such films of its time, Street Trash has a large dollop of black humour running through it. But still, it's the acid running directly through the city's homeless people that's most memorable about this picture.
