5. Dwayne Johnson Will Play Both Black Adam AND Shazam
Admittedly, this might not be the 'boldest' prediction about the future of the DC movies, as I'm far from the first person to predict it. But really - who can we feasibly see going up against Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson except Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson? The announcement of Johnson's casting as Black Adam was always a very curious move. The news was made public way back in September 2014, but the Shazam movie isn't due until 2019, and in the interim we've heard basically nothing more about it, beyond some uncertain mutterings as to whether or not it will in fact take place within the broader DCEU. Although, given Johnson has all but promised he'll eventually throw down with Superman (and really, who doesn't want to see that?), it's hard to imagine Shazam will stand too far apart from the rest. While rumours should always be taken with a big pinch of salt, it's hard not to wonder why there really haven't been any rumours to date as to who might be in line to play Shazam. And given that Black Adam is to all intents and purpose's Shazam's evil twin, there would be a certain logic to Johnson playing both roles, even if this might pose some technical challenges.
