Played: Pussy Galore in Goldfinger. Horror Filmography: Fright (1971), To The Devil A Daughter (1976), The Cat And The Canary (1978), Tale Of The Mummy (1998), Cockneys Vs Zombies (2012). Its strange to see one of the most no-nonsense Bond girls, who had previously been one half of The Avengers with Patrick Macnee, playing a character scared of her own shadow, but those were the kinds of roles Honor Blackman was offered in the wake of Goldfinger. Perhaps the most humiliating was Fright, where her character spends the movie in a constant state of panic. Or theres Russell Mulcahys wretched Tale Of The Mummy where, along with Christopher Lee, she was wasted in a nothing role. It took until Cockneys Vs Zombies for her to receive a decent role in a genre film, playing a part we'd always wanted to see her in - a machine gun-wielding zombie killer.
