5. Garth's Drum Solo Wayne's World
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Qi3JERmk9E Mike Myers' film debut in the 1992 comedy film Wayne's World features some hilarious and memorable moments, many of which are impromptu music scenes. The most notable is the sing-along rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody, where a car full of Wayne's friends, including Garth (played by Dana Carvey) head-bang along to the Queen classic. But another memorable and hilarious scene comes when Wayne and Garth visit a music store. As Wayne is perusing the guitars, Garth finds a drum kit and begins a complex solo. His drum fill comes complete with brightly coloured concert lighting, as the solo reaches its climax of rolls and crashes. Garth states simply at the end, "I like to play" then tings a cymbal. In reality, Dana Carvey actually played the drum solo in one take.
