Worried that her life is too perfect, Katie concocts a story about a demon following her around that her boyfriend Micah uses as an excuse to spend money, which is the only thing that’s ever made him happy. In addition to purchasing a camera he says cost “about half as much as I made today”, he buys a Ouija board, hires a psychic and brings in a Demonologist.
The camera captures the sound of keys jangling and the next morning they find their car keys on the floor because even if demons existed, they’d have better things to do than mess with the heads of privileged idiots like these two. The rest of the movie is a dream Katie has to distract her from how dull she is.
