Darth Vader is dead. He died in Episode VI of the Star Wars franchise, having redeemed himself for his evil deeds, and his ghost is quite clearly seen in the final scenes. That said, rumours persist about his potential appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and there is absolutely no doubt that fans of the franchise would love to see him. His inclusion has been denied, but photos from the set seem to suggest his presence may just be felt once the movie arrives, although how exactly he could appear in unclear. Could he be resurrected in some way? Could he simply appear in flashback scenes or a dream sequence? Who knows, but it would be awesome to see the iconic villain on the big screen once more.
