2. The "Winklevi" - The Social Network
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DP2DW2c5po Another killer CGI flourish from David Fincher occurs unexpectedly in his marvelous, Best Picture-nominated drama The Social Network, in which Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg finds himself squaring off against privileged, identical twins, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. Watching the film, one simply presumes that Fincher cast a pair of identical twins for the role, as logic dictates, but he didnt do anything quite so simple Rather, Armie Hammer is, in fact, not part of a double-act; instead, poor Josh Pence played one twin while Armie played the other, and CGI was used to replace Pences face with Hammers. Though the performance seems to justify this drastic move, it again still seems like a massive gamble, when countless twin actors could have been plucked out of obscurity for the role. A mad, mad bout of brilliance from David Fincher.
