4. Crossfire
Crossfire, aka William Cross, is the comic book cousin of Darren Cross. Darren appeared in the first Ant-Man film, taking up the guise of Yellowjacket. In the film's climax, Scott causes Darren's Yellowjacket suit to shrink around him, crushing him from outside in.
It's hard to believe that Crossfire, a powerful mob boss, would take kindly to the brutal death of his beloved cousin. The main villains of the past two Ant-Man films, Darren and Ava Starr aka Ghost, both wanted revenge on Hank Pym. What if, for the third installment, the main villain were instead after Scott?
Having the villain's vendetta against the current generation would be a nice change of pace, especially since the Spider-Man films have drawn some criticism for alyways pitting Peter Parker against Tony Stark's old enemies.
