10 Characters Who Shouldn't Return For X-Men: Days Of Future Past

7. Angel - X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

angel A fly boy who spends more time in the bathroom than your average teenage boy, Warren Worthington III had some serious daddy issues in 'The Last Stand' being the son of the industrialist behind Worthington labs. Angel is the first subject to be tested by his father's cure but has second thoughts, leaping from the window he flies to the safety of The Xavier Institute. Angel was set to appear as early as 2000's X-Men but was written out early on, whereas the eagle eyed will notice an X-Ray of an Angel in Stryker's lab in 'X:2'. 'The Last Stand' uses Foster as a piece of eye candy to woo the teenage girls that flocked to see the film, the film version comes across as a wimpy quiet type that brings nothing to the screen. He is only actually credited as 'Angel' at the end of the film. The comic book version of Angel is a key part of the team, being one of the original X-Men and a founding member; it is annoying to see such an important character sidelined to the last film as a bit part. ang2 In the early years of X-Men Angel is seen as a Bruce Wayne styled millionaire playboy, born with a silver spoon in his mouth from his father's fortune. A more developed version of Warren Worthington could make a great addition to an X-Men film.
