10 Characters Who Will Probably Die In 2016's Biggest Movies

When you sit down to a movie picture, you know that somebody - in some capacity - is usually going to wind up biting the bullet. Death, after all, means drama, and the cinema - like with love - has exploited this notion since its inception over a century ago. As far as sequels and franchises go, Hollywood tends to hesitate when killing off anyone with the potential to draw audiences back into the theatre. You're essentially shooting yourself in the foot when you decide to throw a famous or iconic character under the bridge. Occasionally, Hollywood realises its mistake in killing a popular character, and has no choice but to awkwardly bring them back from the dead (Alien: Resurrection, anyone?). In the biggest blockbusters though, filmmakers have to be brave, and as such death almost always plays a huge and unrelenting part in the proceedings. Big movies like to kill off big characters, because what better way to have the collective audiences of the world talking about your movie than to kill somebody they love?
