Try to forget the god-awful Paris Hilton starring remake and put this wry horror classic on your must-see list this Halloween.Vincent Price gives a typically excellent performance as Henry Jarrod an oddly devoted wax figure sculptor whose sent on a murderous quest for revenge when his devious business partner torches Jarrod's beloved wax sculptors along with Jarrod in a bid to cash in on an insurance policy. House of Wax kicked started the 50's 3D craze (yep, it comes in cycles kids!) and is the first 3D colour film. Price's droll delivery as the genuinely menacing Jarrod and the gaudy utilization of 3D effects (including a tush-flashing line of cancan girls) make this a laugh-out-loud must for horror fanatics.
