3. Rob Schneider
Adam Sandler almost made this list, though I managed to keep him off it purely because somewhere deep in the fathoms of my memory, I remember he
used to be funny. I think. It's hard to picture it, I know, given the sheer amount of utter trash that Sandler has made you pay to see these past six or seven years, but I'm almost certain that at one time, Adam Sandler was making people laugh instead of forcing them to re-think the words "comedy movie." Same can't be said about Sandler's pal Rob Schneider, however, who has spent an entire career trying
extremely hard to make people laugh with his wacky antics and downright ridiculous movie plots, only to fail at it on every occassion. Trey Parker and Matt Stone summed up Schneider's desperate, cloying attempts at comedy with their fake movie trailers in a memorable episode of
South Park ("Rob Schneider in...
The Carrot!") and pretty much put the subject to rest. It's safe to say the Rob Schneider ship has officially sailed. Actually, I'm not sure it even left the dock.
