10 Comic Book Movie Endings You Can No Longer See

7. The Clones Attack - Judge Dredd

1995's Judge Dredd was so bad that they had to remake it 17 years later, drop the word "Judge" from its title, and replace Sylvester Stallone with Karl Urban.

The original movie's plot revolves around Dredd's evil half-brother Rico and the army of clones he plans to use to take over Mega City One.

Brothers - what are they like?

In the theatrical cut of the movie, the clones are shown waking up and... that's it. They just sort of wither away and die, taking Rico's lab with them. It's a bit of an anti-climax.

This might be because scenes were originally filmed of Dredd blasting his way through the clones in a goo-filled rampage. However, Big Sly wanted the film to be more family friendly, and so the violent sequence was cut.

He wanted a Judge Dredd film... to be more family friendly? Had he even read the comic books? This guy's name is literally Dredd!

The clone-killing sequence has been lost to time and very few people are in any rush to see any more of this awful film.

What are the odds Stallone keeps the tapes under his pillow?
