10. Texas Twister
According to Urban Dictionary, a Texas Twister means a very different thing nowadays than it did back in the seventies. A SHIELD super-agent who leads a Southern-fired superhero team called the Rangers, Drew Daniels began his life as a cowboy who happened to be working a little too close to a nuclear power plant during a meltdown. As is the way of dangerous amounts of radiation in comic books, Drew was not condemned to an early death thanks to cancer and losing all his hair no, instead he was gifted the ability to generate tornadoes at will, as well as a heightened resistance to dizziness and motion sickness. Plus he had mad rodeo skills. It's possible that writer Roy Thomas and artist George Perez weren't taking the character all that seriously when they created the Texas Twister. He's mostly been brought back as a joke since. Imagine him reconfigured as a troubled cowboy though McConaughey channeling Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven, say only a superhero. Not bad, huh?
