10. My Super Ex-Girlfriend

Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman cast Amazonian all-rounder Uma Thurman in this 2006 romantic comedy with an evil-smashing twist. Luke Wilson brought the beefcake as mortal Matt, whose new date appeared bookish and shy, but who actually was the secret identity of profoundly pneumatic superheroine G-Girl. Seems a pair of spectacles and a cardigan was enough to fool this charming lunkhead. Essentially Superman with boobs, G-Girl claimed numerous powers and a typical radiation-fuelled origin story, but suffered from those problems often afflicting prominent female characters in the flicks, namely possessiveness and mood swings like you wouldn't believe. You'd have to have Kryptonite in your head not to like Thurman, but she sure can pick 'em at times. The film co-starred Eddie Izzard (currently comic booking it on the small screen in Powers), Anna Faris and a certain Rainn Wilson, more on which later...
