10 Comic Book Movies You Should Feel Guilty For Enjoying

7. Batman & Robin (1997)

In the late €™90s, director Joel Schumacher did a successful job of butchering the Batman franchise with the atrocious Batman & Robin. Upon its release it flopped hard with both critics and at the box-office. You can routinely find it on many €œworst movies of all time€ lists, and it is considered one of, if not the, worst superhero movie ever. There are plenty of things that are just wrong about this film. Bane was a complete waste of an awesome character. Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze is flat-out ridiculous. Alicia Silverstone€™s Batgirl is pointless. And Chris O€™Donnell as Robin is probably one of the first cinematic superheroes that every film-goer collectively wanted to dropkick in the face. Though, this is all part of the film's charm. Batman & Robin fails hilariously on so many levels that you can€™t look away, and you don€™t really want to. Every time you watch it, it€™s almost like a new experience because you notice a new level of bad each time. It€™s not just bad though, Batman & Robin has transcended into the realm of so-bad-it€™s-good, or perhaps so-bad-it€™s-hilarious. Yes, this movie is horrible but whenever it comes on cable late at night, you know you€™re watching it.
