The next time you see Ansel Elgort, you'll probably be crying. Just a guess. The young American actor only made his screen debut last year, in the poorly-received Carrie remake starring Chloe Grace Moretz, but he's had the good fortune to be cast in two very high-profile films this year. The first of which is Divergent, which hit theaters only a few days ago but is performing well. He plays Caleb, the main character's older brother, who rebels against his family's faction to pursue his own interests. Later this year, he'll be starring as Augustus Waters in The Fault in Our Stars, based on the book of the same name. It's a film that will potentially cause minor flooding in theaters due to audiences who are ugly crying all over the place, and his performance will probably prove to be make or break for his career. It's his first leading role, and it's in an incredibly anticipated film, so the pressure is definitely on. As a finale to his 2014 year, he's also slated to appear in Men, Women, and Children, a comedy from Jason Reitman (the man who brought us Juno and Young Adult), starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, and Emma Thompson.
