10 Crap Movies That Stupidly Cut Out Great Actors

7. Constantine - Michelle Monaghan

Michelle Monaghan didn't have it easy before she finally found mainstream fame with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in 2005. Up to that point, she'd been cut down to one line in The Bourne Supremacy, almost removed from Unfaithful, and actually deleted entirely from Syriana. It was kind of like she'd been preparing for her role as an almost-been actress in Kiss Kiss all her working life, albeit probably not on purpose. To make matters worse, in the same year her sizeable role was lifted out of Syriana, Monaghan failed to make the cut for Constantine. Actually, that's a lie - she gets one line ("Holy Water!") and a couple of frames - but it was a big drop to go from being Constantine's (Keanu Reeves) demon lover to essentially a glorified extra. Constantine opened to mixed reviews and a generally poor reception from fans, while Monaghan only went on to bigger and better things, her high point arguably being her Golden Globe-nominated performance in True Detective last year. Or The Heartbreak Kid, if you like awful Ben Stiller films. Depends what floats your boat.
