10 Creepy Horror Films Featuring Murderous Body Parts

8. The Hand

He may be regarded by some as a national treasure, but Michael Caine did his fair share of less than top-notch horrors (The Swarm being another example). Though to be fair to him, most people consider his performance in this to be a lot better than the movie as a whole. Caine himself once claimed the only reason he accepted the part was for the money to put a deposit on the garage he was having built. After losing his hand - which is never found - in a car accident, we later find it following Caine€™s character about and murdering those who anger him. Another example of a detached body part doing our dirty work, it seems. The premise of the movie revolves around whether the hand is actually real or if it is just a figment of the main character's imagination - with him being the actual killer all along. Most agree that while it may not be a great movie, the end scene has quite an unexpected twist.
