While it could be construed as being disingenuous to label any of Leone's films 'underrated', there are certain examples where the director's classics get forgotten. When it comes to the Dollars Trilogy it's the second entry, For a Few Dollars More, that gets this treatment, but when it comes to Leone's Once Upon a Time saga, it's the unfortunately titled Duck, You Sucker! that is similarly overlooked.

Also known as A Fistful of Dynamite and Once Upon a Time... the Revolution, Leone's tale of the 1910 Mexican Revolution is a forgotten classic and a film that deserves to be held alongside his most revered productions, including The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, as well as Once Upon a Time in the West.

Following a former IRA revolutionary (James Coburn) and a Mexican bandit (Rod Steiger) as they unwittingly become heroes of Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata's struggle against the Mexican government, Duck, You Sucker! is sprawling, epic, and a technical masterpiece sandwiched by two other extraordinary films. Definitely watch it if you haven't.
