10 Most Cringeworthy Moments In The Harry Potter Movies

2. 19 Years Later... - Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

J.K. Rowling made very few missteps over the course of her Harry Potter series, but there were a fairly large amount of them inherent to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, easily the worst book in the saga. One of the major mistakes she made came in the form of the ending, which opted not to leave Harry and friends as kids, but to whiz into the future and show them all dropping their own kids off at King's Cross several years later. In the book, the scene reads like something akin to fan fiction, and seemed tagged on in a way that felt rather unnecessary. So this scene never had a chance when it came time for the film adaptation. Looking at three very badly "made to look old" characters in Harry, Ron and Hermione is instantly laughable, which - after a few moments - becomes incredibly cringeworthy to watch. All three "parents" look desperately uncool, and there's a real sense of awkwardness that clings to them trying to pretend they're in their thirties. It's just all-round terrible, really. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEKA6rmVfW8&feature=kp
