10 DCEU Concept Designs Better Than What We Got

Suicide Squad appears to have gone through several Enchantress designs before arriving at the approved look for Cara Delevingne's character, and the version they picked is the most vanilla of the bunch.

When the ancient witch was first introduced, she was all kinds of creepy, but that illusion was shattered once she reached full power. She wore traditional headgear and little else, almost as if she was relegated to the role of hip-gyrating eye candy.

That wouldn't have been the case if director David Ayer had selected one of the more creative designs. They exude power, colour and mysticism, highlighting the divinity and otherworldly elements of the character.

Of course, Enchantress would still have been an underwritten villain with these changes in place, but at least she would have turned up for the final act rocking a memorable look.
