4. Clover/LSA (Cloverfield)

It's big, it's camera shy, and it comes with its own deadly parasites. Showing Godzilla he€™s not the only water-dwelling monster in existence, the Cloverfield creature rises from the depths of the East River to wreak havoc on New York City and make life really difficult for poor, reluctant camera-man, Hud. The military called the monster a Large Scale Aggressor (or LSA for short), while the production crew of the film affectionately named it Clover. The most terrifying thing about this Large Scale Aggressor, is the fact that, according to the film€™s creators, it€™s still just a baby. It may be on an orgy of destruction, but we should have some; the poor creature is suffering from separation anxiety and simply trying to find its way in the world. Which entails stomping through Manhattan, and causing untold thousands of deaths and billions in property damage. Oh, and those deadly little parasites that jump off its hide? They€™re all part of the birthing process, apparently. Which means that where€™s there€™s a baby, there€™s usually at least one parent€
