10. Tommy Wiseau
Everyone who has ever seen Tommy Wiseau's directorial debut The Room has been unable to shake it from their memory, such is the nonsensical nature of the film. Released in 2003, The Room is Wiseau's only feature film to date, meaning he has spent eleven years out of the chair. Getting Wiseau back behind the camera could result in a complete cinematic disaster, but considering his only effort so far was such a calamity, while becoming instantly unforgettable, there is no down side. His large cult fan base have been living off The Room too long and need another look into the weird world of Wiseau. Written, directed, produced by, and starring Wiseau, The Room is a romantic drama revolving around the relationship between Wiseau's character, his fiancée Lisa and his best friend, and while the story line may appear simple, trying to follow it is near impossible. Despite its many flaws, The Room has built up a large cult following, and it's hard not to be enamoured by Wiseau's deeply ridiculous creation. What was meant to be tear-jerking was instead eye-wateringly funny. Wiseau himself is a baffling character , and one which the world can only benefit from seeing at least one more time.
