10 Directors Who Could Take Over Avengers: Infinity War From Joss Whedon

Thanos needs a director.

During the "Marvel Event" last year, Kevin Feige revealed the studio's plans from 2016 right up until 2019. Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, and the Inhumans are just a handful of those on the way as part of Phase 3, which will culminate in the two-part Avengers: Infinity War, due in 2018 and 2019. The two-part movie will likely be filmed back to back, meaning that it will be just the one director (or directing duo) who end up tackling it as a whole project. If not, Marvel run the risk of having two pretty disjointed movies which won't fit that well together. Who then should take over? There are a number of possible candidates. Some are already experienced in the superhero world, while others have yet to take on a movie in this genre. Either way, if Infinity War can't have Joss Whedon, any of the following filmmakers would undoubtedly do the Avengers justice...
