1. The Lemon Party In Cars 2
If you had the misfortune of sitting through Cars 2 please accept my sincerest sympathy. If you didn’t, consider yourself lucky and don’t worry – all you need to know to get this dirty Disney joke is that the villains in this flop of a film are the Lemons, a group of defective cars involved in international espionage hellbent on messing things up for Lightning McQueen and friends.
At one point, the Lemons are celebrating an almost victory with a party. Being Lemons their shindig is naturally citrus-themed with lemon party hats and elaborate arrangements of lemons on fancy platters. A lemon party for Lemon cars – that’s innocent enough right?
Wrong! As anyone who’s clocked up a fair few hours on the old interwebs will tell you the term ‘lemon party’ has a whole other meaning. In fact, it’s become one of those terms that you should never ever, under any circumstances google and while it’s no blue waffle or tub girl it’s probably not something you want to google at work.
Hint for the curious: it involves three gentlemen of a certain vintage expressing their affection for each other. That’s all you need to know. Trust me.
