8. Cate Blanchett - Sorceress
Cate Blanchett is a true veteran of the fantasy genre, and her natural talent at playing godlike, yet sufficiently relatable, characters is unparalleled. One need look no further than her role as Galadriel in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies to see that. And that's not even mentioning her MCU contribution as the Goddess of Death.
The Sorceress is one of the most important characters in the whole Masters of the Universe canon, being one of only three people to know He-Man's secret identity (which is fair enough, considering she's the source of his powers in the first place). It's obvious, then, that she'll be a part of the new film, and likely a very prominent part, too.
On top of this, she's also the mother of Teela, one of He-Man's closest allies. This complicated mother-daughter relationship would definitely distinguish this role from the other similar characters Blanchett has played, no matter what kind of tone the writers are going for.
