10 Dumb Decisions That Will Ruin Upcoming Movies

These future releases are doomed to failure.

We're pretty spoiled by what films we've got coming up over the next few years. The blockbuster horizon may be dominated by franchise films, but what's on offer looks really awesome. With more entries in ongoing hits and the return of some old favourites, the years to come look set to be some of the biggest in movie history. Obviously not all of these movies will hit. And we don't just mean a less than successful box office haul. Unfortunately it seems that some of what should be the most promising films are already well on the road to creative failure. Plenty of upcoming movies are making questionable decisions - Skull Island, the King Kong reboot, seems to only exist so we can eventually get an ape-Godzilla showdown, while censor loop-jumping will ultimately rob Fifty Shades Of Grey of its sensual USP - but in these cases it's minor; their success won't rest solely on these issues. There are some movies, however where it looks like one bad decision will completely ruin the whole thing. Today we bring you ten of those movies that have thrown away their potential in one move. We still have our fingers crossed they'll end up great, but really don't want to get our hopes up.
