The Plan: The super-rich businessman Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric) wants to...stage a coup d'état in Bolivia to seize control of the nation's water supply. The Flaw: After the sexy casinos and double-crosses of Casino Royale, the fatal flaw of this plan might have been that it could put audiences to sleep. However, that is to forget the fact that Amalric's Greene is simply so inoffensive as a villain; his short stature and harmless build means that he isn't going to be scaring anyone, least of all Craig's beefcake Bond, who easily kicks his ass at the film's finale, making for one of the least-exciting showdowns in the history of the franchise. Simply, if you're going to be bold enough to start messing the global infrastructure, you'd better be ready to put your fists up if the opportunity calls for it. Instead, we got a weedy little Frenchman who was (rather cruelly, I will admit) left to die of thirst in the dessert. Which villain scheme is the dumbest that you've ever seen?
