10 Easy Steps To Save Will Smith's Career

1. Never Put Jaden In A Film Again

Pretty simple, this one: if Will Smith still wants to be a huge Hollywood star, he should never put his son Jaden in one of his movies ever again. It was cute and worked remarkably well for The Pursuit Of Happyness, but After Earth was so gobsmackingly awful that the idea of more Jaden/Will collaborations now sounds totally horrifying.

Luckily, the Smiths seem to have got the message, with Jaden moving on to his own projects (such as Netflix's The Get Down) while Will focuses on his stuff. There was a time when a fear began to spread that Will would try and hand a few of his franchises over to Jaden, but hopefully that will never come to pass.

It would be especially excruciating to watch Jaden mimicking his father in a reboot of The Fresh Prince, wouldn't it? Fingers remain crossed that nothing like that will never happen, and Will Smith can concentrate on delivering fun family films, hilarious comedies, indie dramas, pop tunes, familiar characters and a decent Deadshot movie... is that too much to ask?
