10 Embarrassing Spelling Mistakes You Won't Believe Made It Into Movies

1. "Nameco Bandai" - The Avengers (2012)

nameco-1024x764 There's a part in last year's superhero extravaganza The Avengers which mentions (and then shows) the game Galaga. As a result of said featuring, the name of the game's publishers, Namco, must be mentioned in the credits, right? Well, only sort of, apparently, given that Disney/Marvel only managed to give them a credit that came with a dumb mistake: they're listed as "Nameco Bandai," which you'll instantly notice is not the way the company have been spelling their name for the sum of, oh, sixty years. What does this mean, then? Well, that it's some poor soul's job to check things like this, and the guy responsible for this specific (and relatively boring) spelling mistake was probably fired, given that just about everybody in internetland decided to jump in and explain to the guy what a terrible job he'd done. Which makes this all kind of sad, really, doesn't it? Which movie typos have we missed? Let us know in the comments section below.
