10 Epic Movie Moments Still To Come In 2015

9. Copycatting Keanu's Most Iconic Moment - Point Break

There should probably be a rule that great 1980s and '90s films should be locked in a vault and forever protected from being remade by directors seeking to reinvent and suck every appealing characteristic out of what made the original so delightful in the first place. Then we wouldn't have had to watch Total Recall or RoboCop be tarred by proximity to their unnecessary, inferior remakes. Luckily though, Point Break was not a great film when it first came out. Yes, it has some cult appeal - mostly in the wooden performances of its three most notable actors that improbably got confused with being good - but it's considerably less well executed than the worst moments of the Fast & Furious franchise that it inspired. So seeing a remake and a chance to see The Dead Presidents rise again is actually welcome, even if a surf movie releasing on Christmas Day is a bit odd. Especially appealing is the chance to see the film's most iconic moment reborn: Johnny Utah choose not to take his new friend and criminal mastermind Bodhi down and firing in the air in frustration simply because it turns out he's a nice lad. Less Exciting: The unfortunate removal of Gary Busey's brilliant performance from history.
