7. Every Scrooge Getting Exactly What They Deserve - The Krampus
You know what will always be more annoying than anyone putting their Christmas tree up in November? The people who flood your bloody social media feeds complaining, rationing your fun and slinging out the old "there are only 12 days" BS that is about as relevant to the modern Christmas story as myrrh. So it is a distinct pleasure that those humbug spitting buzz kills will get a morality tale to remember when The Krampus hits cinemas on December 4th. The film after all deals with what happens when a little boy doesn't appreciate the joy of Christmas enough and unwittingly unleashes the demon to wreak vengeance on his entire family. Just as it should be. And while it sounds like the kind of micro-budget, straight-to-DVD fare that comes out every year, the cast - top-billing Toni Collette and Adam Scott - elevates this into something far more exciting. It's about time we had another great Christmas horror to continue that particularly tradition. Less Exciting: The inevitable knock-offs and sequels next year.
