10 Essential Marvel Heroes Not Yet Used In The MCU

5. Moon Knight

Marvel Wonder Man
Marvel Comics

Moon Knight is one of those characters everyone expected to show up on the small screen alongside Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones. As a street-level crimefighter akin to Batman, but in the Marvel Universe, he seemed perfect for such a treatment. Rumors abound that Netflix is working on bringing the character onto Daredevil as a sort of backdoor pilot, which worked well enough for the Punisher.

Moon Knight has been on the brink of cinematic development for years but has yet to materialize. James Gunn pitched a Moon Knight film to Marvel Studios back in 2017 but seeing as he's since been fired by Disney and nothing was released related to that project, it's not looking good.

Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, did mention in an interview that Moon Knight was in their development future but indicated it could be "5 years from now, 10 years from now, [or] 15 years from now."

Fans of the character have been waiting patiently and things are looking good for Moon Knight's future in the MCU. Even if there is nothing conclusive just yet, he should be making an appearance sooner or later.
