10 EXACT Moments You Gave Up On These Movie Franchises
8. Tony Stark's Death Feels Like The Natural End - Avengers: Endgame
The sight of Tony Stark paying the ultimate price as Earth's Mightiest Heroes finally took down the big bad 'Mad Titan', and brought back all those who were dusted away five years earlier, was about as beautiful and perfect an ending as any MCU fan could have asked for in Avengers: Endgame.
And that was the problem.
Witnessing the Infinity Saga finally being brought to its staggering end felt like a natural conclusion to not just many of the OG Avengers' stories, but the entire sprawling franchise as a whole.
Disney and Marvel Studios were never going to pass up the opportunity to try and replicate that lucrative process going forward, of course. And it wasn't long before the MCU was chucking out multiple new flicks and even branching out onto the small screen in subsequent Phases.
With so much new MCU content dropping in the years since that moving Endgame conclusion, though, a lot of the folks who once couldn't get enough of Tony Stark and the gang have now found themselves struggling to keep up with the many new superhero tales being told on multiple platforms.
The likes Spider-Man: No Way Home and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever can still definitely be classed as financial and critical successes, sure. But that still doesn't change the fact that many have struggled to stay plugged into the ever-growing franchise in the time since that truly superb Endgame.
