10 Extremely Controversial Films That Upset The Censors

1. Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence

humancentipede2 The extremely warped sequel to Human Centipede: First Sequence, Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence lacks any shred of decency in its entire viewing time. The film follows the 'exploits' of Martin Lomax, a security guard, obsessed with the first centipede that he reads about in the news - and he is thus intent on sewing a bunch of people together - ass to mouth to make an even bigger centipede. We see him murder a lot of people gruesomely and then create his masterpiece which is... delightful. The BBFC took great umbrage to the film and initially banned it. This was down to Martin's obvious sexual arousal at the acts of humiliation, torture and degradation that he inflicted upon his victims. The first Human Centipede film had been deemed 'disgusting and tasteless' by the BBFC but gained a certificate on the basis that it utilised staple horror plot mechanics and was almost medical in the approach to its horrific subject manner. Wrangling between the BBFC and the film's distributors was to last for 4 months. The BBFC let it be known that they were open to self imposed cuts and in October 2011 the ban was rescinded with an agreed 2 minutes 37 second worth of cuts. - equalling an incredible 32 cuts over 8 scenes. What was censored from the film is as follows: Martin masturbating with sandpaper, Graphic shots of victims' lips being stapled to other victims' asses, graphic shots of teeth being removed by a hammer, graphic details of victims pooping into each others' mouths, details of Martin wrapping barbed wire around his penis and raping a woman, graphic shots of lips being ripped from buttocks. Of course the above is lovely, wholesome stuff that I bet you are crying your non-polluted eyes out over missing. Having watched the film, it is terribly gruesome movie, and I don't think the removal of certain bits harms it too much - unlike Cannibal Ferox which got shot to pieces and is a pile of castrated nonsense.
