10. Bruce Campbell Makes A TV Appearance In Fargo

You probably already know that Evil Dead director Sam Raimi and the Coen Brothers are good friends in real life, and have worked together on a number of occasions (The Hudsucker Proxy, or Crimewave for example). Which is why Bruce Campbell - who plays chainsaw-wielding badass and zombie killer Ash Williams in the Evil Dead trilogy - can be briefly glimpsed in an insanely subtle TV cameo that probably went right over your head.

During the scene when Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare retreat to their cabin in the woods to wait out Fargo's kidnapping process, Buscemi's character can be seen violently bashing the television in an attempt to get some signal, and then - wham - we're watching a soap opera.

And who's the star of the show? It's Bruce Campbell! A nice (but perhaps unintentional) meta-joke you might also want to consider here: a "chainsaw" is mentioned in conversation whilst Bruce plays in the background.
