8. Aston Martin DB5 - The Car To Be Driven By 3 Bonds

The car that every Bond fan dreams of owning. The Aston Martin DB5 first appeared in the 1964 Bond film Goldfinger. Since then, the DB5 has appeared in eight of the 25 Bond films and has been driven by three of the seven Bonds. While filming Goldfinger, the film company couldn't actually afford to buy one of the cars, so Aston martin actually had to loan the crew two cars for production. One of the cars was kitted out with all of the gadgets, while the other was left untouched.

Fleming wrote the Aston Martin pinto the books because he was a big fan. When he wrote the car into the book, Bond had been driving his signature Bentley, but the savvy Q had other plans for the agent. The slick, bullet-shaped silver car caught 007's eye immediately, and once Q started listing the gadgets and weaponry that the car concealed, he was sold.

Since then, the DB5 has weaved its way in and out of the films, occasionally being replaced by a BMW or Toyota. The return of the Aston Martin indicates that this car has a special place in the agent's heart and will always be a favourite for him
