9. Don't (Grindhouse)

The only faux-trailer in Grindhouse to not find itself shoe-horned into a feature-length movie (or at least, isn't rumoured to become one), Don't is the best of the bunch, and a perfect homage and parody of the British Hammer horror genre. Directed by Shaun of the Dead's Edgar Wright, the trailer for Don't has a bunch of people heading into a haunted house, only to come face to face with a variety of terrifying scenarios (all whilst the trailer's narrator repeats the movie's title to increasingly comic effect). The film itself, though, looks like a great, gory laugh, and would arguably make for an excellent feature-length movie. Don't miss the cameos by Rafe Spall and Nick Frost (he's the big, scary baby) and the care with which Wright has taken to capture the sub-genre's idiosyncratic cinematography style.
