10 Family Films That Secretly Brainwashed You

4. Fluke (1995)

Fluke A touching, somewhat lesser known movie about a father-turned-dog€™s relationship with his family. Quite a cast in this film. Eric Stoltz, Matthew Modine, Ron Pearlman. Heartwarming, sad, and also blatant propaganda from fundamentalist Hindus. For years now, fundamentalist Hindus have been using any means necessary to force their 330 million Gods upon the entire world. A major tenement of Hinduism is reincarnation, which is what this film is all about. Hollywood€™s secret Hindu hegemony conspired to use a volatile trinity to bring more believers to the flock: puppies, Modine, and the voice of Samuel L. Jackson. Ironically, this movie does more to harm the idea of reincarnation than it does to help it. A guy gets killed, comes back as a dog, and then has to watch some other guy nailing his wife while raising his kid? That is a fate worse than death.
