10 Famous Actors Who Literally Do The Same Thing In Every Movie

5. Johnny Depp Always Wears A Hat

The key to figuring out whether or not Johnny Depp will sign on for a film role comes in the form of a question: "Does the role allow Johnny Depp to wear some sort of hat?" If the answer is "yes", then Johnny Depp is going to be all over that sh*t.

The man has a passion for hats in real life, of course (just type "Johnny Depp hats" into Google - you'll see some of his favourites), but he won't pass up the opportunity to don one in a movie, either. Ever. When you realise that he's "hatted up" in pretty much every flick, then, the Deppmeister's wacky career choices all start to make sense - there's a reason he wants to play Willy Wonka and Jack Sparrow and Tonto and The Mad Hatter (oh, man - that one even has a hat in its title!): they're all hat-based characters.

What I'm saying, ultimately, is that Johnny Depp can only channel characters through hats (or, at least, whilst thinking about hats).
