It's an unwritten rule amongst Hollywood types that actors don't say bad things about the movies they choose to star in publicly, 'less the entire movie industry falls into a frenzy of human beings throwing insults and telling horrific stories about one another. It makes a lot more sense if everybody just agrees to pretend that every movie they do is worth the ticket price, and that way rivalries don't build up and everyone can keep on working with one another and making a ton of money. It's been that way for a long time, and for the most part it works. It's all about creating the illusion of a friendly collaboration, of course, which is an image that Hollywood tries to maintain on a frequent basis.
