You can't exactly blame an actor for trying to sneak a few snacks onto set from time to time. After all, filming a feature is usually a long an arduous process at the best of times, leading to extended spells waiting between shots; time that could be spent munching on some chips or scoffing a few peanuts.

And while Robert Downey Jr.'s need to nibble throughout the making of his various Avengers showings managed to wiggle its way into the finished product on many an occasion, Brad Pitt took that concept and dialled it up to eleven. Ocean's Eleven funnily enough became the film that first really shone a light on Pitt's on-screen eating habits, with Pitt reasoning that Robert "Rusty" Ryan was always on the run so therefore constantly needed to pick up a snack to recharge.

But the real reason Pitt can always be found stuffing his face in films largely boils down to the star being a self-professed "grazer", explaining why the likes of the Ocean's films, Meet Joe Black, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Fury, and Allied all see him chowing down at one point or another.
