10 Famous Actors You Didn't Know Had Really Weird Fetishes

9. Tom Hanks Has A Thing For Typewriters

Tom Hanks is like a nice, caring uncle who everybody likes and respects but is secretly harbouring a great dirty secret down in the basement of his house. Wait, what?! Let's start that again: Tom Hanks might be the quintessential Hollywood nice guy, what with all those nice guy roles, and that constant nice guy attitude, but he's not quite as "straight" as you probably think. And by that, we mean that Tom Hanks has a weird thing for - of all the objects - typewriters. How much does Tom Hanks love typewriters, you're wondering? Enough that he has a monumental collection of them, apparently. In an interview with the New York Times, the Big actor (as in, he starred in a movie called Big) revealed that he has a real passion for this particular word-processing tool, and admitted that he uses one almost every day to... well, indulge his urges? Apparently it's the sound that he enjoys. To be fair, they do make a really great sound.
