Eva Green was determined not to be "just another Bond Girl". The actress, who played Vesper Lynd in the 2006 remake of Casino Royale, even fought with the director over the amount of skin the final cut contained.

In the shower scene, the director had suggested Green strip down to her panties, but Green shot it down repeatedly. The reason for her opposition stems from a horrible experience she had with prior nudity in a film.

That film was The Dreamers, a romantic drama that required her to appear nude for a large portion of the movie, and also engage in a number of barely-edited sexual acts that initially earned the film an NC-17 rating. She later said she found the whole situation "very troubling" and didn't know why she agreed to it.

Since then, her stance on the subject has loosened considerably, as Green has appeared nude in about half of her film and television work since Casino Royale, including sequels to 300 and Sin City, which are exceptionally provacative.
