9. Elijah Wood
Its easy to forget that Elijah Wood started his acting career as an unbearably cute child before he hit the big-time as the worlds most famous Hobbit. He started out in adverts and modelling thanks to his unabashedly cute little babyface, before taking more high-profile roles such as Huckleberry Finn (in The Adventures of Huck Finn), and starring opposite Macaulay Culkin (of all people) in The Good Son. Whilst Wood didnt lose his babyface completely by the time he became a household name (or at least, a household face), hes certainly become an unrecognisable grown-up. Thanks to his varied choice of roles, we know that Wood is more than those big, doleful eyes (and can actually be damn terrifying, thanks Sin City). The diversity of his work - from something like Sin City, to the gorgeous and hilarious Everything is Illuminated, and even freaky comedy Wilfred - has made sure that he doesnt become the broken record of a child star. And it doesnt hurt that he grew up super attractive.
